Policy

Cleaning Services selects cleaning products which are user-friendly and environmentally compatible.

When purchasing cleaning materials, the following factors are considered:

• whether chemical constituents in products are biodegradable
• toxicity of substances
• effectiveness of products
• suitability of products for University use

Cleaning Services is a member of the Master Cleaners' Guild which provides information on technological advances in cleaning equipment and products.

Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are available for all chemicals used within Cleaning Services.
