Facilities Management - Trauma Emergency Clean

A traumatic incident involving an accident or crime is one likely to cause profound emotional shock to some witnesses.

A trauma emergency clean may be necessary after any incident of this type that has caused harm to a person on campus.

In all these cases Security should be notified immediately.

Person discovering	Contacts Campus Emergency Coordinator (xtn 2222) Preserves site uncontaminated until relieved by Security.
Security	Contacts police. Cordons off area. Arranges for trauma clean after Police have authorised.
Security/ Cleaning Services	Contacts nominated trauma cleaning contractors where specialised cleaning is required. Informs necessary personnel.
