Tree Maintenance

Policy

It is Grounds policy to remove trees which are creating a safety hazard. Individual trees which continually discard branches are removed if they are posing a safety risk.

Trees which are interfering with gutters are pruned back to minimise roof and gutter damage.

The Tree Maintenance Programme is now in operation and each tree on campus is pruned according to its structure and functional requirement. This Programme will help to reduce safety hazards and maximise the aesthetic value and longevity of trees.
