Policy

Facilities Management is a service organisation that supports the Mission and Vision of the University and associated organisations.

The Building Service Workshop exists to support the University by delivering building trades services, skills and consulting advice supporting the University goals in teaching, research and public affairs.

Building Services Workshop is not set up to engage in commerce on its own behalf.

The Building Services Workshop has a charter to provide the best building maintenance for UWA on a full cost recovery basis. Every opportunity should be investigated to achieve higher levels of service through economy of scale within the above policy.

Care will be taken to meet the Spirit and Letter of Australian Standards AS 4120-1994 dealing with competitive tenders by in-home supplies.
