Policy
The following categories of work are not covered by University maintenance funding:
- Work carried out on departmental equipment.
- Alterations or additions which are not defined as maintenance (see Definitions of Maintenance)
- Work which is covered by an insurance claim for vandalism, fire, storm damage etc.
- Maintenance work of a non-urgent nature which is on a schedule for future implementation by Facilities Management, but which the department wishes to have completed immediately.
- Staff relocations.
- Furniture for new staff (funded by Departments).
