UniverCity

In order to achieve the UWA vision to be ranked in the top 50 universities globally in 50 years time, the University has recognised the need for growth.  This growth will be in students, staff and research activity.  To accommodate this growth Facilities Management commenced a Strategic Asset Review in 2005 with the Executive and Deans of Faculty.

Termed ‘UniverCity’, the Strategic Asset Review provides the University with a physical planning vision and identifies opportunities for partnerships with State Government and others.  The Strategic Asset Review will provide a contemporary framework for further campus planning and  inform a Strategic Asset Management Plan, which will provide guidance for the University’s acquisition and development plans over the next 50 years.

In December 2007 the UniverCity vision was endorsed by Senate.
